Edwin CliffordBURRELLEddy passed away peacefully, whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, on 20th November 2025, aged 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Marlene, a fantastic role model and loving dad of Julie and father in law of Trevor. He was an adored Grandad and Great-Grandad, a dear brother in law and uncle. Eddy will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A service to celebrate Eddy's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 12th December at 2.15pm.

By request, family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in Eddy's memory may be given to Grimsby Town Disabled Supporters Association, there will be a donation box in the gardens of remembrance following the service. Cake and coffee will be available before the service at Reflections Tea Rooms from 12:30

Dear Eddie, you will be missed. I spent many an afternoon chatting with you and the late Marlene. Such lovely people and friends. It was a pleasure to know you. Back with your Marlene, who I know you missed so much. Lots love love Linda . RIP.

Had the pleasure of working with Eddie at Royal Mail for 20 years +.We were both GTFC fans so always had plenty to talk about when we did our "Rem Run"A top bloke who I feel blessed and privileged to have known and spent time with.RIP old friend and Up the Mariners.
